ORDER, SHIPPING & CUSTOMER SERVICE

Where is my order?

Once your order is processed, you will receive tracking information by email or text. Tracking updates depend on the carrier and may take time to update after the label is created.

Why does my tracking say “label created” or “awaiting item”?

Sometimes carriers take time to scan packages after they are dropped off or picked up. A tracking delay does not always mean your order has not shipped.

How long does shipping take?

Most domestic orders arrive within a few business days after the carrier receives the package, but delivery times are estimates and can vary due to carrier delays, weather, holidays, order volume, or other issues outside of our control.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. HoneyPlusCo currently offers free standard shipping on eligible domestic orders unless otherwise stated.

Does free shipping mean faster shipping?

No. Free shipping means there is no standard shipping charge added at checkout. Delivery speed still depends on fulfillment time, carrier service, and transit conditions.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders may only be canceled before they are processed, fulfilled, labeled, packed, or shipped. Once an order is fulfilled or handed to the carrier, it cannot be canceled.

Can I change my shipping address?

We can only attempt address changes before the order has been processed or shipped. Once the order is fulfilled, we cannot guarantee changes.

What happens if I entered the wrong address?

Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout. If a package is shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address, HoneyPlusCo is not responsible for failed delivery, lost packages, or reshipping costs.

What if my package says delivered but I do not see it?

Please check your mailbox, porch, front door, parcel locker, mailroom, neighbors, household members, or building office. Once tracking shows delivered to the address provided, the order is considered delivered.

Are you responsible for stolen packages?

HoneyPlusCo is not responsible for theft or missing packages after delivery confirmation. We may help with a carrier claim when possible.

What if my package is lost in transit?

Contact us at: info@honeyplusco.com with your order number. We may open a carrier inquiry or claim. Refunds, replacements, or store credit are reviewed case by case.

What if my item arrives broken or damaged?

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Send your order number and clear photos of the damaged item, shipping box, inside packaging, shipping label, and any visible damage.

Why do you need photos for damaged packages?

Photos help us verify the issue, file carrier claims, and determine the best resolution.

Do you replace broken jars?

Damaged item claims are reviewed case by case. If approved, we may offer a replacement, refund, or store credit at our discretion. HoneyPlusCo is not responsible for items damaged during transit.

Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of food, honey, and bee products, all sales are final unless HoneyPlusCo determines there was an error on our part.

Can I return opened honey or bee products?

No. For safety and quality reasons, we do not accept returns on opened, used, unsealed, tampered with, or partially consumed products.

Can I get a refund if I do not like the taste?

HoneyPlusCo does not offer refunds for personal taste preference, change of mind, buyer’s remorse, dislike of natural color, dislike of natural thickness, or failure to read the product description before purchase.

Are sale items refundable?

No. Sale items, discounted items, flash sale orders, limited batch items, and promotional purchases are final sale unless HoneyPlusCo determines there was an error on our part.

How long does customer service take to respond?

RAW HONEY BASICS

What is raw honey?

Raw honey is honey that has not been heavily processed or overheated. It keeps more of its natural character, flavor, texture, and aroma.

Is your honey raw?

Yes. Our honey is raw, natural, and unfiltered unless otherwise stated on a specific product page.

Is your honey unfiltered?

Our honey is unfiltered, meaning it may contain natural pollen, wax particles, or tiny natural hive elements. This is normal for raw honey.

Is your honey pasteurized?

Our raw honey is not pasteurized like many commercial honeys. We focus on keeping the honey as close to its natural state as possible.

Is your honey organic?

Not unless a product is specifically labeled certified organic. Honey can be natural and high quality without being certified organic.

Is your honey local?

Our honey is from Southern California. Some specialty items may come from specific traditional sources, depending on the product.

Is your honey real?

Yes. HoneyPlusCo sells real honey and natural bee products. We do not water down, cut, or substitute our honey.

Do you add corn syrup or sugar syrup?

No. We do not add corn syrup, sugar syrup, or artificial sweeteners to our honey.

Why does raw honey taste different from store honey?

Why does my honey look cloudy?

Cloudiness can happen naturally, especially when honey starts to crystallize. It does not mean the honey is bad.

Does honey expire?

Honey has a very long shelf life when stored properly. Keep it sealed, dry, and away from excess heat or moisture.

How should I store honey?

Store honey at room temperature in a sealed container. Keep it away from moisture, direct sunlight, and extreme heat.

Should I refrigerate honey?

No. Do not refrigerate honey. Refrigeration can make honey crystallize faster.

Should I microwave honey?

No. Do not microwave honey. To decrystallize, place container in warm water instead.

How do I liquify crystallized honey?

Place the sealed container in warm water until it liquifies. Do not microwave. Do not refrigerate.

Is crystallized honey bad?

No. Crystallization is normal in raw honey. It does not mean the honey is spoiled or fake.

Why does real honey crystallize?

Raw honey naturally crystallizes over time because of its natural sugars and particles. This is a normal natural process.

Can I still eat crystallized honey?

Yes. Crystallized honey is safe to eat if it has been stored properly and has no signs of contamination.

Can I use honey in tea?

Yes. Honey is great in tea. For best results, let boiling water cool slightly before adding honey.

Can I cook with your honey?

Yes. You can use honey in tea, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, marinades, baking, fruit, coffee, sauces, and more.

Is raw honey vegan?

Honey is made by bees, so most vegans do not consider honey vegan.

Why does your honey vary by batch?

Honey is made by bees, not machines. Color, taste, texture, thickness, scent, crystallization, and consistency may vary naturally.

Is variation a defect?

No. Natural variation is normal and is not considered a defect.

Why does my jar not look exactly like the photo?

Product photos show examples, but natural bee products may vary by batch, season, and source.

Does darker honey mean it is old?

Not necessarily. Darker honey can naturally come from certain floral sources or seasonal conditions.

Does lighter honey mean it is weaker?

No. Light honey can still be real, raw, and high quality.

Why does my honey have tiny particles?

Is Honey&Herbs medicine?

Can Honey&Herbs cure a cough or cold?

It is limited, harder to source, and produced in smaller quantities.
